Newly hatched, how to bathe and clean off the SuperGlue Albumen off

As the title say

how do I bath a newly hatched that's got all that gooey albumen that dried like superglue


never had this issue so don't have much of a clue how to go about it

ok i wouldnt bathe it maybe its supposed to be on there if you truely want to bathe it take a warm wash clothe and gently wipe the chick down and then make sure the chick gets warm and dry. goodluck

thanks I decided to take the plunge and bathe him anyway

I used warm water and a dish cloth

I dried him with a hair dryer and put him back in the brooder

this was yesterday at 8pm

before the bath he was laying on his tummy, not moving much, peeping and his eyes not opening

this morning at 9am when I went to check on him

he was up and about and doing really well

glad I bathed him was a good call
