So tonight is a "maybe" and tomorrow is a "very strong maybe"

https://www.swpc.noaa.gov/

Keep an eye on the "latest observed" section. Right now it's at a G2. If it's G4 yo're a maybe. If it's G5 you're a strong maybe. Current forecast for tonight is G4, and there's a large CME convergence inbound for tomorrow which is hinting at being more intense than last night. Tomorrow's forecast is for G5. Last night I shot in G4 conditions in AZ.

Use your cell camera to take pics, even if you can't see anything with your naked eye. Your camera's sensor can see.

And if you have DSLR, 10 sec or longer exposures on a tripod. Stopped down to f/5 Or less I'd expect, and kick your ISO up to 800 or higher.
Awesome!!! Thanks for the info!!! I’m gonna try again tonight.

Only G2 right now. Northern Canada above the circle might see something. the rest of us are outta luck.

Keep and eye on it. If it pops up to g3 it should drop into the upper midwest. At g4 it's worth looking in the southern states.

It was fabulous here. I had to use night mode on my phone so I stood perfectly still for like 8 seconds each on every pic, lol. It was surprisingly the most colorful right at dusk.

I didn't see anything either and was outside for a bit doing some random stuff (bathing my dog, changing the chicken's water, leaving a fun surprise for when they wake up (some treats scattered and mixed with their litter to give them something fun to do). IG they just weren't visible here
