Definitely a cockerel.We have a Black Cochin and we can't decide if it's a rooster. It is just over 4 months old and huge. It is much bigger than our other Cochin chickens. It has never crowed. We're still learning so any help would be appreciated.

That's a cockerel.Awesome!!!! How about my Orpington I'm getting mixed signals from him/her. I'm not sure on Nutmegs age but its getting lots of green in the tail feathers.
