Hi all. I started out one year ago with 4 Rhode Island Red hens. Unfortunately, I am now down to 2 (1 hen died from an attack by neighbor's dog; 2nd hen died just recently from a fall). I was so heartbroken I swore the remaining 2 will be it. BUT....my spouse KNEW how much I enjoy relaxing with my girls after work and gently nudged me toward 2 more chicks. I now have 2 RIR's and 2 ISA Brown hens (7 weeks old).

I have been coming to BYC for almost a year now for all my chicken questions. Reading the feeds have taught me so much so far and am looking forward to more knowledge.
