One eyed cross beak

She isn’t gaining weight? I’m giving 4ml a feeding should I increase the ml?

There is a Crossbeak support group somewhere, either FB or another platform in case you haven't checked that yet. My crossbeak, Blanche, will be 2 in May. She has both eyes in good working order and is always in everyone's business trying to run operations at the barn!

Good advice re: chicken feed mash in a deep dish being available. Also a waterer with a wide enough tray; some are very skinny, hard to get beaks into. I take Blanche to my vet roughly every two months to get her beak gently trimmed with a dremel tool. As Mildred gets older you'll be able to see her beak structure better and to see any changes that may take place that might require some shaping.

I had a Mildred, too. My Dominique hen who was always a bit frail and little, My Little Chicken. Good luck with your Mildred.

I have a few cross beaks they are my favorites the milli I just discovered having it, but none of these chicks need help except a trim.

This one Mildred, she’s not understanding how to eat and drink. I have spent a lot of time helping her.
She has a lot of obstacles to overcome and I hope I can help her gain weight
