Opinions on sex

I k ow it is way too early but I can’t help myself. I have two Easter egger chicks. The first one “egg” sprouted pointy tail feathers first and appears to have a single combs so I think she is a female. The second one”bumblebee “ has thicker legs, still a fluffy bum and the prettiest markings so I’m leaning to roo. I don’t expect sexing to be accurate just yet but hoping for your opinions.

I would wait till 6-8 weeks.
that is the range of when you can usually sex a chicken depending on the breed.
3 weeks is way too early to sex.

I know, its so hard to be patient for weeks when you are really are eager to know the sex!

I'm leaning towards cockerels for both but agree that you should wait. Sometimes they trick us. I'm unsure of the breed but he doesnt look like an Easter egger to me what color are the legs?

Yeah, not an easter egger. They have green legs.

I have Easter Egger chicks and they have yellow legs. Their mom is an Easter Egger but their dad is a Rhode Island red but they got most of their appearance from their mother. Easter Eggers are not a purebred chicken anyway so I think they can look like anything. With that being said, I would say they could still be Easter Eggers but they do look like two boys.
