Nice looking birds. How do they deal with the cold weather in your area? I'm in KY and worry this type of bird might suffer or worse.

I am in Knoxville, TN. Mine do well in the winter as long as they don't get wet, esp. their feet. Wet feet=frostbite on the toes, and toe loss. I also use a 2x4 on its side for roost so they can lay on their feet at night.

What part of Kentucky? I went to high school in Harlan, KY.

we have had weather down to about 0 and no losses. if they can get out of the wind and stay dry on the coldest days.

This guy is a silver blue. He was blue spangle as a chick. Incubator bird. Not sure if he is half silver Kulang asil half blue Thai or pure Thai (silver top spin cock over blue hen). Available.
