A week passed since Cody met Rune. He saw by a river watching the fish swim below. Because no trouble had happened as a result of meeting Rune, he decided that she was trustworthy. Crouching down, readying himself to jump in after the fish, he wondered why she was so kind and friendly to a rejected wolf like himself.
