Part of the reason is I'm battling scaly leg mites, & sometimes the excess crust makes the bands extra tight, needing removal for proper treatment. Sometimes it causes some leg bands to dig into the leg. Had that happen with a JungleFowl hen recently. She's getting round 2 of treatment tomorrow.Why wings
