Got the incubator running, & stabilizing.
Will either be setting the eggs tonight, or in the morning.

Still need one more egg from my short beaked pullet. I think she either decided to go on vacation, or is laying in an unknown location.

Looking like the Splash Duckwing pullet is actually carrying a gene for blue eyes, not pearl. Well, she maybe pearl over blue, so two recessives.

I will try to get pictures later, I've tried once, & the lighting wasn't good, plus she kept blinking.

Depending on how these babies turn out, I may replace Long's Son, cuz he's not holding muscle mass in the breast that well, & that's important with these birds.

16 days left for the eggs under the broody hen. So, one Malay for the project expected soon.

Looks like I have someone interested in some juvenile Malays, which is good. That way I can sell off the ones that don't show the traits I need for the project.
