Does anyone else only handwash knives?
My husband is particular about it and doesn't want them in the dishwasher because it's not good for them.

I hand wash carbon steel knives
I don't have enough respect for my stainless knives so they go in the washer.
IMHO, carbon steel may rust and are softer but they can be sharpened.
SS knives are too hard to take an good edge.

Hub has the holiday off with me based on his work contract, but is doing a training with another agency. They are training today.

At least he is getting holiday pay. But why, why make a training during a federal holiday week?
