Thats brilliant! Im going to steal ur idea. I got pint size cans at work I can get. What size bulb do you use and how hot does the can get?

I just finished it tonight and I put a 75 watt bulb for a test. It does heat up if you leave it on for a while but should do fine as long as you don't leave it on for too long. I'm going to test lower wattage bullbs and possibly just throw in a energy efficient bulb because they produce lower heat.

I got everything at Lowe's for about $20 and it works great so far.

Ive been tinker around trying to think of a way to make one. And your idea is just perfect. Im cheap and use what I can scrounge at work or from in my garage. I know I got everything I need to make it except the cord with a switch. But a got a cpl rocker switches I can just put one on the can.
