please help 1st duck !!! Some one please answer.

My first duck has pecked a about the size of a fingernail. 3 o4 others have tiny holes. the temp in the incubator is 98 the humidty is about 78 As far as I can tell about 10 more should start to hatch. How long does it take and should help them or what should do > annne

Anywho - dont help. They can make it just fine getting out on their own. I cant tell you any more than that.

Leave them alone. It can take a long time from the time they pip to the time they are finally hatched. They need time to absorb the yolk and get adjusted to the world.

That happened to one of mine too. It took a day and a half before it finally hatched. So far he's doing good.
