Please help!!! Hole with bone protruding!!

Help!!! I've just noticed a hole in my Pekin (hen) chest. And what seems to be a bone protruding out of it. I'm horrified! It's kind of zombie like. How is she still alive?! What, how, why is this happening to my sweet girl? And what/ how do I help her??? Any help is greatly appreciated. I can't get a good picture.

Is that on the keel bone area? Can you get a clearer picture? It may be either a breast blister, or feather cyst/infection. The hard bit could be dead tissue/scab or feather shaft.

Breast blisters start as minor irritation from rubbing on a roost or laying in bedding and pressure on the breast. Bacteria enters just like with bumblefoot. Birds with leg or foot problems (like bumblefoot) or heavy birds may not roost correctly and rest their keels on the roosts.
