Please Help!

Help please! Day 18 during incubation and I have a duck egg that has pipped on the wrong end. What do I do? Should I stop rotating it? At a loss. I do not know what type of duck it is. Received eggs from local farm. Hatching with my class, have been doing this for years- but this early arrival is new to me. What do I do?

If it's pipping on day 18, it's a chicken egg. Or it's been incubated before you set. Can you get pictures?

This is all I have right now, until I head back to school tomorrow. I checked my eggs after an evening theater performance when I noticed it.

That looks like a chicken egg. Have you candled recently?

Not for a few days. Last check, good blood vessels seen as well as movement.
