Ok so I have a question. My boyfriend’s dad got these chickens and they all have the bare bellies. The other picture I have started to take as my own. She won’t walk she limped at first and would have a hard time walking around now she is segregated from the others so I could allow her to rest and hopefully heal but it’s been 3 weeks since she has been by herself. Any advice please help

Meat birds have very poor health. Heart attacks and lameness is very common, especially close to butcher time.

They are bred to gain so much muscle mass (meat) so fast that their leg bones just can't support them, so instead of pecking and scratching like normal chickens, which would keep them active, they just pretty much lay around, causing the feathers to rub off their underside. They are not sick and there is nothing wrong with them, they are just bred to be butchered at about the age you got them.
