I got this perfect little egg this morning from Harriet (19wk white leghorn). She left it in the loft of my kids tree house.
None of the other girls seemed impressed when I told them Harriet is my new favorite.

I know! I have four from our orpington thus far, and today's was a little bigger! I think our barred rock will be next. Her comb and wattles are getting really red!

What you can't see is the crack on the bottom where she scratched all the hay away and it landed on the floor of the nesting boxes. :/
