A few weeks ago we had an egg bound hen. She got the egg out but became very ill, I was sure she wouldn’t make it. But…she did.
Within a few days she was speeding around as usual, eating and drinking well, a little bit off to herself but she’s usually that way. She didn't lay an egg for nearly two weeks.
Cut to today, she laid her first egg since being egg bound/ill and it was covered in a yellow substance.( I’m having trouble attaching a picture but will try again in a few minutes.)
I’m fearful this means there’s another issue despite her eating well, walking normally, etc.
Ideas?
