I love seeing everyone's feedback on sexing chicks. I think it's fun, even when" time will tell". Currently, I have 7 baby chicks that are 85-90% guaranteed pullets. I know giving it more time will solidify my suspicions. But nevertheless, guessing is fun. Isn't it!?!?:thumbsup

I have seven chicks here, which I have labeled a, b, c, d, e, f and g. You will see a side view and a front view.
These chicks are Buff Orpingtons and are almost 4 weeks old. Let me know what you think...because I have a suspicious that I may have a roo in the mix.

OK! Let's goooo!!

F and G have kind of a deeper color where the wattles will grow later on, so that is perhaps a little suspicious for males. But it could well just be the photos, and may mean nothing at all.

Definitely going to be updating!! Time will tell.
So far I feel confident on a, b, c...and I'm "eh" on e.
But that d, f and g...I don't know. Going to keep my eye on those ones.

Updating: so I think all are pullets but "f' is still a hmmmmm...not so sure. Here is a new thread with updated pictures of "f". She is 8 weeks old now. Tell me what you think. Here is the link: Roo or Pullet?
