Hey guys, I need help. I'm starting to get discouraged. I have 7 babies I was sold as pullets. I know it's not a 100%, but now that they're 6+ weeks I'm at a loss. I have 2 EE, 2 Wyandottes, 2 Sapphire olive Eggers, and 1 maran. I'm pretty sure my sweet maran is a "he" at this point. I had hopes, but the backside feathers have me pretty sure. I cant have roosters here so I need to find any boys new homes. It's gonna break my and my daughter's hearts. So here are some pics.

I'm seeing 2 possible cockerels in this group. The small black one in picture 4. It seems to have a reddish comb. And the barred one in pics 6 and 7, because its color is lighter overall than I'd expect with a female. I'd give them more time, though, to be sure. The rest are pullets.

Here is a different pic of the same one.

The Wyandotte in the third photo has saddle feathers and red comb, so cockerel. And the lighter barred chick in the 6th and 7th also looks to be a cockerel.

Does this one look suspicious to anyone?View attachment 3789508
That is the red light from the heat lamp I think. Neither of the wyandottes have much actual red on their combs yet. I'll keep my eyes peeled though. Unless you use a flash or they're under the lamp, their combs are mostly dark brown with barely a twinge of light pink at the top
