Purple Beaked Chicks?

My cochin bantam just hatched 10 cochin frizzle crosses and i noticed 2 or 3 have purple beaks while the other have normal coloured beaks. Is this normal for cochin frizzle crosses, does this mean they are unhealthy or are they like budgies and can be sexed by beak colour

Probably nothing to worry about. I know some breeds do have rather dark beaks, so its likly just something to do with how the pigments came through in the cross

Nothing to be concerned about. I've seen all manner of colors and patterns in chick beaks. It's just how the pigment happens to be thrown together under order of the individual genes.
