Question: chick with crackling breathing

I have a one day old chick that has a slight crackle as it breathes. It is not as lively as the others and isn't walking as well. What does this mean? I've img]http://www.pic4ever.com/images/reading.gif[/img] searched and only saw it listed as a symptom, but not what is means if it has it? Is this something I need to deal with or just wait out?

Any bubbles coming from the nose area? All I really know to advise that will not hurt is the give it some electrolytes (Pedialyte) in the water, and maybe some polyvisol without iron (baby vitamins).

No, no bubbles coming out of its nose. I have pedialyte, and some iron free liquid vitamins I can give....if it'll take them from a dropper, being so young and all.

Put the vitamins in the water. They cannot take full strength. Pedialyte too, in the water, about 1 teaspoon of each in the waterer.
