Kyle's surgery went great. No surprises. The tumor and kidney were removed without damage to anything else. Some lymph nodes were removed for testing. The surgeon said they looked good. A port was placed on his upper left chest for future chemo treatments. Results of tests won't be complete until Tuesday at the earliest. At that time, a treatment plan will be established. He will not be allowed to drink or eat until tomorrow morning at the earliest. Please pray as he has asked for water and isn't happy he can't have it. This is hard on his Mom and Dad. They know the IVs will keep him hydrated but is it hard to watch your child want a very simple thing and have to deny it. Please continue to pray for all of them.
