For you Spring enjoyment. Some of you may know Sue Weaver's name from some of her books on backyard livestock keeping. This video was made for her and features some of her mini Cheviots as well as others.

I thought I posted this last night, but it was so late and it doesn't show up on my profile... WHY did my son have all spring break to write an essay and he just did it last night??? And I had to edit!

Set 40

At lockdown:
2 clear
6 quitters
=32

19 hatched beautifully on day 20
Assisted 4, 3 didn't make it
12 late quitters
=20 adorable babies!

I had tons of temp/humidity problems and will use a new hygrometer and maybe three thermometers next time. There was also a funk smell on day 20, so on advice I took the chicks out then. Three have curled toes and I'm trying boots -- we'll see... Otherwise, they may just have curled toes.

They are so cute!!!
