Result of shipped hatching eggs through Craigslist Marans

I purchased one dozen eggs from a seller who listed Marans on Craigslist. His location is about 170 miles from Me. He sent me 16 eggs, all arriving in good shape.
There have been times shipped eggs yield me no result, but this time my broody hen Jade and I ended up with 12 adorable chicks.

The ride in those mail trucks, and the handling at the post office must have been GENTLE, as it should be.
Much sorting of packages is done by automated equipment which can be rough on boxes.
