Good meat breed and the added bonus of nice fur too. I processed several this week and will be doing another dozen or so Monday morning. I have a local buyer picking up pelts Monday afternoon. Buyer stated they wanted to tan and make pillow and possibly a blanket.

Are you on a FB meat rabbit group? I swear I just saw that last pic online with the pelts on the fence.

I've skinned and kept the tails on before but never tried to keep the ears. How do you cure the ears on the pelt?

Yes, I'm on several FB meat rabbit groups.

I don't tan anymore. My buyer has requested the mask be left on the pelts, so I skin them this way.
