Rhode Island Red x ??? = Red Sexlinks

Okay I breed purebred Rhode Island Red's and Black Sexlinks. I'd like to start breeding Red Sexlinks as well. What breed crossed with the RIR creates the RSL?

Currently I have 3 BR's (all hens) & 5 RIR's (4 hens & 1 roo). I'd like to add at least 3 to 6 of whatever the breed is that you cross with RIR's to get RSL.

I do know you can use Delaware girls with your red roo for Red sex links

Thanks!!!! I'll buy a few of Delaware chicks when TSC brings their chicks in around Easter.

People around here buy mostly the RSL's and Black Sexlinks for their laying flocks. They usually buy them for $7 to $12 apiece depends if they are hens or pullets.

I'd make a nice profit + it give me some more entries for the fair this year.
