Hey everybody,

I ordered 18 straight run bantams from McMurray Hatchery. 3 are Silkies, 2 are Sebrights, 2 are Japanese Bantams and the rest are Cochin Bantams. They are 3 weeks old and I'm starting to notice a lot of squaring up and getting in each others faces. Is this a sign of a lot of roosters? Obviously I want majority hens but if I do have a lot roosters is it ok to keep them all in the same pen? I love them all so much I don't wanna get rid of any. :(

I'll attach some pictures of some so I can see what y'all think of them so far.

Let me know y'alls guesses!

It’s a little too early to tell at this point. Wait a few more weeks and repost. Just so you know, chicks will challenge each other by puffing up their hackle feather and “getting in each other’s faces” whether they are pullets or cockerels. It’s perfectly normal for what you are witnessing. Enjoy the chicks stage, as they grow up so fast! I look forward to seeing more pix as your babies grow a little bit more! Good luck and have FUN!!!!!
