It's best to worm your birds early in the morning while it's still dark. More importantly, you'll be giving them the Equimax on an empty stomach when the tapeworms will be at their weakest, making the wormer more effective killing them.
Then wait a couple of hours before feeding your birds.
Keep an eye on their feces if you get the chance, you might get lucky and actually see broken up pieces or strands excreted which is the actual tapeworm(s) being excreted, primarily the birds that excreted the segments.
After the two hours are up, go ahead and feed your birds a reduced ration, then gradually increase feed during the day back to normal.
The reason you do this is because your birds will be starving. You dont want them to gorge feed and possibly cause impacted crop or gizzard.
