My Coop
I have a large coop with 20+ resident chickens and 8 guineas who only come home at night to roost in the coop.

A few months back i picked up 1 golden sebright male and 2 female and built this little coop just for them in hopes they will hatch some eggs. They are not laying yet but the male is trying every 15 mins lol.

It was a planter i had in my yard that i didnt use as Tennessee is to hot and it needs watered 3x per day.

Also in the photos you will notice a Sicilian Buttercup in the coop with the sebrights. She's in there bc i had to remove her from the flock temporary then reintroduce her into the coop and she was getting picked on so I put her in there for her own good.

I dont have the little sebright rooster in there yet as Im letting the females settle in. The male is pacing outside their pen back and forth. He wants in.

Also we put this little breeding coop inside the pen and its under the coops roof overhang and has a metal roof of its own. Its waterproof and has 2 roosts and a nesting box.

We had 2 days of tropical depression rain and i went out this morning and the whole inside is warm and dry.

Should also add I built this whole thing with remnants, all the wood and fence and even roof panels and paint were left over from my coop build. It has 2 levels with the waterer on the bottom and a 3x8 pen for them to use. And up top under roof is their feeder and the box for them to sleep and nesting boxes.

Just thought I would share my little project. All I need now is for the little birds to lay some eggs.

I will snap some when i go out today. It has 1 metal roofing panel overhanging and bolted to the sides with roofing bolts which have rubber grommets. After i put secured the first panel i set another one above the first one for added protection as the roofing panels had a few nail holes from when they used were on the roof and removed.

It has good runoff! We just had near 5" of tropical depression rain and everything is dry including the feeder thats not in the box!
