I have a question to you all. I have a young Silkie who started brooding this past sunday and wondering if this is too early for this to happen. She is about 6 months old and wondering if it too early to hatch chicks? I live in AZ so our winters are mild for the most part. Any feed back would be appreciated still novice to raising back yard chickens......I have a bunch of mixed types and ended up with a Silkie rooster so the eggs are fertilized.........any thoughts
