BASICALLY THEY DONT SHIP WELL, REMMEBR THAT WHOLE "GAMEBIRDS DO NOT HAVE THE RESOURCES CHICKENS AND OTHER POULTRY DO AT HATCH" THING? THEY DONT HAVE THE RESOURCES IN YOLK TO LAST VERY LONG AND ARE 1000X'S MORE COLD SENSITIVE... SO IT TURNS OUT TO BE A DISASTER. LARGE HATCHERIES SHIP AND IF SOMETING GOES TERRIBLY WRONG (WHICH IS OFTEN THE CASE WITH SHIPPING BABY QUAIL)THEN ITS NO BIG DEAL, THEY JUST RESHIP... MOST OF US LIL GUYS DONT HAVE THESE RESOURCES TO BE ABLE TO DO THIS... ALSO IT PLACES THE BABIES IN A VERY BAD SPOT...

Plus they are bo where near as strong as a chicken. It takes every ounce of energy they have to hatch. They are pretty much defenseless until they dry off.
