Should I bump up the temp to 100?

Incubator says 99.5 and Govee says 99.3. Is 99.3 too low and should I bump it up to 100?

It is fine. You are overthinking it a bit. As long as it isn’t getting bellow 98.5 or above 100.5 then there is nothing to worry about

Ok thanks. First try with this.
don’t worry, I completely overthink everything that has to do withy pets.:p

I just try my best to remember that nothing in nature is perfect. Hens usually get off the eggs at least once a day, one hen may have a slightly warmer/cooler body temp, etc. Heck, I have heard of people have chickens quit sitting on the eggs for 12+ hours just to put them in an incubator for them to hatch without issue. Eggs are a lot tougher than a lot of people give them credit for. I am not saying to let your incubator fluctuate between 95 and 105 in a single day, just it is ok to have a 0.2* difference

Thanks for the reassurance. I thought it might be ok but then I thought.. what if it's better to be on the warmer side? Total newb. I'm just excited to see chicks from my favorite roosters.
