It certainly is a funny sound to hear a hen crow. Some of them actually get relatively good at it. I had one last year that took me a while to catch in the act. At first, I thought it was one of the young stags.Hen crow first few seconds.

This is the light chick from the first batch and there are some in the second batch. It has been a long time since I raised anything Gray, but I am thinking there is too much red/brown in the primaries for this to be a Gray? Any opinions?
