I stumbled on this thread as I was caught up on all the normal places I haunt and saw that you are from the Kenai Peninsula.... Hubs and I LOVE where you live. We came back from our 4th trip to Alaska and started trying to figure out how we could get our dogs up there for a couple of months every summer. By the time hubs retires again I'll have it figured out!

One year we spent a week on Kodiak Island, did the bear watching on Kenai.... ranked right up there with our African Safari. Bears were breathing fish breath in our faces. Just amazing.

What about a slug?

No slug or snail they leave trails. I plan on being a very persistent crow that she can't miss. I can still protect her. Slugs (unless bullets) can not protect.
