Actually, Sour, the entire idea of the tree octopus is a prank. In the April 2011 issue of the teens science magazine Muse, an article was written on California's Albino Redwood trees. Following the article was a page titled "Even More Unusual Trees" which explained the 1957 spaghetti tree prank, and Lyle Zapato's slightly more recent website prank about the Pacific Northwest Tree Octopus. And, when I lived in Washington when I was two to four years old, I never saw any octopus in trees.

Well, I guess it's not just your hearing, if this was anything to go by.

Oh I have exceptional hearing...Work just requires hearing tests every year.

And every year, they tell me they don't understand how my hearing is so good for my age. I just look and them and say, me neither...

course, they don't hear me leave the parking lot or pull into the parking lot....I listen to heavy metal and hard rock....And yes, my radio is cranked all the way up from the time I get in the car til the time I get out of the car. Beats me how my hearing is so good!
