What can i use for leg rings for my chicks until my tsc gets another stock in?

I've seen people use those tiny zip ties. That's what I plan on doing when I start hatching.

Ok, talked with my DW last night about our future breeding program. She agrees we should not use the breeder we have now. Also she is open to next spring getting some started birds. So, we will raise the pair we have left as pets. Once they are old enough I will try integrating them into the main flock. We still may show the cockerel because he is looking nice, if we have time.

I use the rubber bands (size 6) for my baby chicks.
They are very easy to put on and remove and they stretch.
I get mine on ebay.

babies r finally hayching i have been impatienctly awaiting their arrival since january! !! so my weekend is jam packed and yall will defenitly be seeing pics soon lol

I really think the blue silkie is a girl now. I hope so. Picked her up today and no comb at all, girly beak and skittish like girls usually are at this age.
