Silkie thread!

I got the incubator today from my friend and popped those eggies in! woop woop! here's for an uneventful great hatch!

OMG! You guys have such beautiful birds!!

I have three little ones, five weeks old now. One was claimed to be a silkie by the store, but some on another thread are saying she might not be a 100% silkie (I did not know breeds mixed!).

Any ideas on my Margaret? I am hoping she's a she . . . the jury is still out on that. Her comb looks to me like the beginnings of a pea comb or a single comb . . . I don't really know what the early stage of a walnut comb looks like. She's petite . . . less than half the size of the EE and BO.

Does it have black skin and five toes?
Silkies do not have single combs, which is what your chick looks to have. Chicken breeds mix just like dogs and cats and other animals.

I am doing photo shoot tomorrow. I have a very dark and very light blue that are about 10 weeks old
