Apparently the APA rejects the "porcelain" label because it is already approved in varieties that have mottling attached which we don't so porcelain is off the table. We have to come up with another name for our version of porcelain.

so really all we have do call it some thing else

it just got be name that dosnt have standerd already selling it to asbc is the hard part

Who else likes "Wedgewood"??? Apparently "porcelain" won't fly with with APA because we lack mottled genes. Wedgewood was suggested as an alternative. I LOVE it. Would love to see some support to get a variety name going. "Self blue cream" won't fly, so I'm told, because it's too long. "Blue cream" is acceptable to the APA but that makes no sense genetically. Would love to see us get somewhere on a workable name.

We are talking silkies, right? lol sorry didn't read every post. I will have to come up with a better name for my project as well. I saw a woman cringe when she read "AOV Creamsicle" on my coop card
