Alright, who knew that it is hug a chicken day? Yep, on a site that is fun to go to, some of you may have already been there, on fb. It's the Chicken Chick at egg cartons lady...there is a contest..so, I brought my sweet little Cotton in for a photo shoot. We change our profile picture to one that has ourself hugging a chicken. No problem there! This little Silkie talked to me the whole time. Real soft little clucks. It was like she knew I was talking to her, because when I talked, she clucked right back at me. I love these birds. And to think that I didn't want to hatch any of these because I didn't think they would be a sweet chicken to have around. I had heard that bantams were stinkers. My two come right up to me. They call to me when I drive into the driveway. I have a little partridge now, that I am having to work on getting her to warm up to me, still very young. Pretty cute sizzle..or frizzle...?
