I pray I am never faced with that...I've heard my Granny talk bout it all my life but I don't think I could ever do it and I know my husband wouldn't. But I would hate to let em suffer too.

Hopefully you don't, it is horrible. Unfortunately I've had to cull nearly 10 times, but dread having to do it again. I will never get use to doing it and always be sad when I have to.

thank you for asking. I kept the rubber band overnight only. it is about 80 % ok and getting better. as I mentioned many times sesame seeds do miracles.

apparently I sat on my silkie eggs and squashed them which I sneaked from somewhere (long story)so I don’t have any lovely silkies.
