I have a silkie rooster that I keep with my laying hens such as sex links. In my opinion, I think he likes them better than my silkie hens.Do any of you have experience with keeping a Silkie rooster with full size hens like Red Rock? I have a mature experienced rooster that will be put with 3 Red Rock hens when the hens are about 4 months old or as big as the rooster. Right now the hens live in a run next to the roosters run. I haven't seen the rooster or the hens showing any interest in each other.
