I use a flea comb for the crest and I have a comb for their feathers though I use The flea comb on their back feathers. You can get proper grooming things but I’m not sure where.
Ok... got my phone charged up! She is extra poofy and looks big, but is light as air when I pick her up. I just checked and she has BLACK feet and legs! The mystery deepens. The seller does have one black silkie roo!!! At the time she was collecting and hatching eggs, she got her new coops and runs, so there could have been an opportunity for him to venture over. I will weigh her and get photos now..How big is she? How much does she weigh?
If she has the more rounded Silkie body type, I would expect her to be a Polkie. Salmon Faverolles are also standard sized chickens, Weighing between 6 and 8 pounds, depending on gender.
Most standard Polish weigh around 5 to 6 pounds for the hens anyway. My standard Polish is on the smaller side and weighs only 3 and a half pounds.
So, Betty is full-grown now that she is laying, she might get a little bigger, but you can use this as additional information to determine her lineage.

I’m betting she’s a Polkie! First GEN crosses will not have any silkie feathers.
Their feathers though in general will be much softer than a standard chicken feathers.
A walnut comb is a silkie trait though, and its dark (she's so cute!!) So that seems appropriate. Is she a paint by chance?
Yes. Her dad was a paint silkie and her mum is a tolbunt frizzle
