Small chicken breeds mixed with normal sized chickens; will that be a problem for incubation?

This might be a dumb question, but if a bantam and a regular sized chicken breed and I incubate the bantam's eggs, which are small, is this going to cause a problem for the chick? Will it be too big for the egg?

Not a dumb question at all! There should be no problems. Chicks grow to fit their egg no matter what size or breed the parents are. Yours will grow to the size of their bantam eggs, hatch to be about the size of a regular bantam chick, and grow up to be a size between bantam and standard.

I agree. The egg contains enough nutrients for the chick to grow to a size to fit that egg. No need to worry.
