I was never a 'Pink Floyd" fan, even though they're my era. This song has been a go to for me since Covid. The line "did you trade a walk on part in the War for a lead role in a cage?" describes why I felt I had to be on the front lines instead of playing it safe. (though I am not sure I can translate it exactly.)
DW and I heard a singer do a live version at 'The Shed" BBQ Joint in Mississippi a couple days ago and I at least got some serious 'dust' in my eyes.
