Sour crop

Finding lash eggs, or misshapened masses, would be a first indication of salpingitis. My hen's symptoms were she became lethargic, tail down, yellow puss looking discharge, won't eat, won't drink. The disease causes the belly to swell, leading some to believe it's water belly. If she has any poop, you should take a picture and post it here.

i have found out with the info i received she has sour crop, its fluid filled and squishy not hard.
The crop is emptying or not? Further on into your thread (below), you mention the Crop is Empty.
Check her Crop first thing in the morning before she's had anything to eat/drink, if it's not empty, then there's a problem. On your other thread, her crop looks quite puffy. Read back over the information and suggestions that were given to you on that thread as well as this one, you may find that you missed some posts or info.
After letting her rest for a day i gave her some scrambled eggs which i usually don’t give my chickens because i am afraid they will develop a taste for the eggs.
A chicken cannot identify scrambled eggs as and egg they have laid. It will not lead to egg eating.
She did spit up again last night when i went to puck her up. Her crop has been empty for a while. Cant get her to drink or eat.
If her crop has been empty for a while, then she really shouldn't be spitting up.

Does she have any lice/mites?
I tried giving her little scrambled egg, some type of seedlings in scratch grass that a local farmer recommended out if desperation. I dont see her drinking anything either but her comb doesn’t seem dehydrated
I'd feed her wet mushy feed along with Scrambled Egg, not sure what seedling and scratch grass is, but you are attempting to treat a crop issue, you want to provide easy to process/digest foods at this time.
Should i keep up with the miconazole if shes not eating?
Thank you
If the Crop is sour, then Yes, you give the Miconazole twice a day for 7 days, even if she seems better, finish the treatment.
Did you read the article that was linked in this thread and in your other thread?

Offer her plain water to drink. If her crop is sour, she should be isolated in a crate with clean water with electrolytes and vitamins. She should not be free ranging where she would eat grass and bugs. Check her crop first thing each morning to see if her crop is emptying or if it is full and squishy. Give the Monistat 1/2 inch orally twice a day. Tomorrow if her crop is down some, offer some very watery egg, and a little plain yogurt with live cultures. Here is a good crop article to use:

How old is she? Do you know when the last time she laid was?
Feel her abdomen, below the vent, between the legs, for any bloat. Either water balloon like, or very firm. Also feel her keel bone, is it well muscled or is the bone very prominent
Hi there thank you. She about 5-6
I don’t know when she laid last. I pulled her out of the coop about three days ago. She hasn’t laid any eggs inside the box. Poor thing been feeling miserable. Her chest felt like a water balloon but she spit up brown liquid and then i got the rest out if her by pushing on her chest poor thing. She is bony prominent in front. Didn’t feel any bloat under her legs and vent seemed ok. I was surprised to see she ate a little of her crushed pellet and drank a little but then she starts swinging her neck around it seems she she is emptying in the morning from what i can see but does this snake like move with her neck coukd that be a pendulum neck? I started her on metocolzie from store i was going to give her tonight dose but i was happy that she ate something i wanted her to rest after. I will give her the medicine in the morning. She seems to be emptying out. Breast still feels little fluid but not big like a water balloon before. And her bum was dirty gave her some miconzaole im her bum too
She seems like she’s holding at the moment. I had called a ED vet to see her wondering if she wasn’t going to suffer after all that brown fluid came up and the vet said it would be $460 to get her checked. Vet care is so expensive im trying to maintain her myself best i can i appreciate any advice that you can offer. It serms like so far shes clearing in crop in the morning of at least what she’s getting down there.

I tried giving her little scrambled egg, some type of seedlings in scratch grass that a local farmer recommended out if desperation. I dont see her drinking anything either but her comb doesn’t seem dehydrated

Her crop doesn't look pendulous to me, just full. At her age, reproductive problems are not uncommon. Those can include cancers and infections. They can cause digestion to slow, and crop stasis is a symptom. If you have never wormed her, then I would be inclined to do that, to rule that out as an issue. Worms can sometimes cause crop back ups as well, and dirty vent feathers. You can use Safeguard liquid goat wormer, Safeguard horse paste, Valbazen. If you decide to worm, let us know what product you get and we can give you dosing.
