I have two beautiful Rhode Island Red hens. They are 2.5 years old. They live in 4-hen coop in the backyard of my MIL's house currently. I got them while we were living with the parents and had since moved to a new place this summer. My mother in law is very fond of the hens and she tried taking care of them but it is quiet a bit of work for an aging grandma. Also they are getting new tenants to the back house where we used to live. It has become extremely difficult to keep the chickens since the backyard is closer to the back house.
Now, the hens are beautiful. They are very friendly and are not afraid of people. One of the hens got bit by an unknown animal a few months ago (we guess either possum or raccoon) and since lost feathers but she is also doing fine and shows no sign of illness. They are very curious and will come to your side whenever we work in our garden. Would anyone be interested in taking them home?
