Good morning all,
I had recently purchased a new 1502 Sportsman Cabinet incubator for hatching out all of my eggs. I had inserted two of the temp probes that I used in the tabletop incubators, and am showing almost a two degree variance from the digital panel temp (102 and 99) measured from the top and bottom. The digital control panel says 100 for the incubating and set temperature. This is my first time using a cabinet incubator, but not to hatching. Any advice would greatly be appreciated and welcome! Thank you in advance!

Several things. If the probes you used in tabletops were accurate, I'd believe them over the panel.
It is common(not good though) for there to be thermal stratification (top to bottom) in a tall incubator.
It isn't as critical at hatching as it is throughout incubation since mature embryos can handle wider temperature variations but still worrisome.
I would give GQF a call and seek their input.
