Spring hatch along!

I was finally able to get hatching eggs from the breeder i was getting eggs from
She imported a new Russian Orloff cockerel for her second flock. So RON is for her new cockerel. Her older flock isnt laying as much

We are on day 4 so i candled tonight
Set to hatch May 6

First external pip happened at around 8 am this morning!
Its one of the Russian Orloff eggs!

The chick that pipped yesterday needed some assistance getting the egg away, so i peel top of the egg shell off and left the membrane, within 10 minutes the chick was free and healthy
