Hello there. I am new to this site. We are just starting our chicken family again! We are in New Zealand on a vineyard and have only been on this property a year and a half. The vineyard is new and we have had 2 children since being here, our daughter is 16 months and son is 12 weeks

Have been a little too busy to establish a new chicken family until now but Tegal(red Shaver) is sitting on 13 eggs and today is day 21, so exciting

In the past we have had all sorts of wyandottes and some barred rocks. Am looking forward to my new shavers and our next addition will hopefully be barnevelder eggs!

Hi and thank you all! My babies arrived overnight and are looking good although mama is very protective! No dogs for us I'm afraid, our 3 cats would torment the life out of them
